Help! Left Headlight Motor Fails 3 Times in 13 Months
Sept. 2003 - Midas replaced left headlight motor for $CAN 540
July 2004 - Midas replaced left headlight motor, no charge
Oct. 2004 - left headlight motor fails again - Midas will no longer honour the 1 year parts and labour warranty. They sent me to the GM dealer to get it repaired there and said they would reimburse me.
My right headlight motor still works and has never been replaced.
Why does the left one keep failing? Does anybody have any ideas? Your help would be appreciated.

I forgot to mention that I have a 99 Firebird. My headlight motors have never made the grinding noise due to the cheap plastic gears, even though they get a lot of use.
