I would like to take time this winter and make my 97 z28 handle better. Do the ss cars have a stiffer spring rate and thicker sway bar than my z? I assume the ws6 cars do.

I love how the ws6 cars handle, should i just find that stuff used? Any suggestions?

The SS and WS6 cars arent a whole helluva lot better than stock. You can easily outhandle them with just a few parts...

Go HERE (http://www.ws6.com/f-bodygp.htm), and order an Eibach Pro Kit for $193, then KYB's or Bilstein HD's depending on what you can spend (I like the Bilsteins) for $229 - $308. Then go to Sam Strano's site (http://www.stranoparts.com/index.php) and pick up a 35mm hollow front sway bar for $199. If you can afford it, grab a 19mm rear bar (22mm is too big and can cause understeer) also, but the front is the imporant one.

Of course there's always more you can do, but those 3 things will have you handling quite well, much better than anything SLP ever put on these cars.

If you are really serious about handling, just give Sam Strano a call at the number on that site and tell him what you're looking for....he's won his class multiple times at autocross Nationals so he knows his sh!t when it comes to F-Body handling. He'll set you up right...

Good luck...
