One of my friends (with a V6 Camaro) just picked up a set of lowering springs from a guy with a V8 Camaro. Both cars are 4th gens. He asked me if they were ok to put onto his V6 and I honestly don't really know. I wouldn't see why not, but what do ya'll think? He was comparing them to his stock springs and they looked pretty similar. Anyone?

It will be fine, all it is just a stiffer/more weight spring compare to the V6. I'm using a V6 rear spring on my TA for track use.

they will fit... but there is a difference.
The rear springs will work fine, but the front spring will be slightly higher then if it were installed on a v8. If its designed for a v8 then its going to expect the weight of a v8 with teh v6, the front will not lower as much.
Though on a side note some v6ers are still happy even though the drop is not as prevalent on the front.

Cool, thanks! I know this will be music to his ears! Thanks again! :)
