starter clicking and lights flashing constantly

i recently replaced my starter with a rebuilt one, and its been working great ever since i put it on. then tonight i got in and tried to start it up; it was rapidly clicking and all the lights were blinking as i held down the key. the engine would not turn over at all.

could my engine have seized if the car was just sitting there? or is the starter just a pos?

Try boosting it, sounds like a dead battery.

yeah i went back out there, and that's all it was. i never would have noticed it, all the dead batteries ive messed with before just sat there, ive never heard it constantly click. oh well, sometimes its the simplest stuff:p
