I was wondering who would win I have a 2002 SS M6 all stock vs. a 95 TA Auto assuming all stock even owner thinks its all stock it just gives you the seat of your pants feeling of being faster. Any tips for me I'm new to my Camaro.
Also how about a stock 03 mach 1.

Oh jesus... As long as you don't COMPLETELY ANNIHILATE YOUR LAUNCH, as in you just stop, you will woop on the TA. In fact, it won't even be funny once you hit 3rd. You could also probably take the 03 Mach 1, but watch out because some of those Mach 1 owners know how to drive and they'll surprise you if you're not careful.

you've easily got a 50hp advantage, on top of the manual trans....

wouldn't even be funny.

should take the mach 1...but as stated..it could suprise you.

a automatic lt1 will run a rare 13.8 to a 14.3 in the 1/4 or worse depending on the driver and state of tune of the car

a manual ls1 will run low 13's all day if the driver can make his shifts and launch it well enough

raced a Mach 1 from a 30mph punch in 2nd....

He kept up for about 2 seconds and then saw my tail lights getting smaller and smaller

Shouldn't be a problem unless it's modded

Quit pickin on your baby brother (the Lt1) if you look in your rearview at any time in this race...the Lt1 is right there I promise you!

a few mods and he might be in front of you! getting an Lt1 up to 340 horse is not a problem!

I love all Camaro's...I don't care if it is a 1979 305 (even though I've had one of those engines buried in my backyard for 20 years)
I love em all, the poor man's vette@

You'll stomp the LT1, and you should pull the Mach up top if both are stock w/ equal drivers, w/ a good driver the mach will be a race

If you can see him in the rear view, he's not "right there." LOL

Furthermore, getting an LT-1 up to 340 hp will take more than a couple bolt-ons. "No problem" is a bit of a stretch I'd say.

no not really about 3 years ago when i bought my 94 ta my buddy andy got his a couple weeks later a 99 ta him 13.6 me 13.7 so there is not as big of a diffrence as you say all i would have needed would be a $150 set of 1.6 rockers and he would have been toast. but otherwise us lt1 guys aint stock anymore so dont think oh its only a lt1

At the wheels yes, but not at the fly

On paper the LS1 has this one esp bc of the tranny difference, even I will concede that. But races arent done on paper, so drive right or it will take awhile for the HP advantage to make its way back into the picture.

Same goes for the mach1.

you should win both races and you should win by even more if you drop your tire pressure to about 20psi

assuming they are both bone stock stroked 93z is right but i doubt the lt1 is stock

I dunno theres severally 4 cyclinder production cars that are way faster or just as fast then a LT1 stock(wrx, wrx sti, evo, srt), a truck(lightnin), and a quite a few v6's(g35,maxima,350z, altima), and other top end cars that are turning LT1 times...Not argueing its still a quick car, just no where near as dominate as it was when it came out in 92/93, and half are still in the condition they were when they were new....Actually have seen quite a few stock LT1's in the past few weeks...there still plenty out there not modded...nothing like 5.0's...Dont get me wrong Id start another LT1 project in a heartbeat, great bang for the buck and tons of potential at minimal cost.
