Another reason why I love my wife. She got it for me as an early B-day gift!

Your A/C and brake lines could use some work...

J/K :p

Nice work man :thumb:

Hopefully someday mine will look that clean.

Is there anything special you have to do to put on the strut brace bar or do you just remove the bolts and slip it on? I don't want my car to fall apart and hit the ground if I mess something up.

Yea all the rest of it will get polished out next year if and when I pull the motor. Seen an LS1 all polished up and it gave me motivation. Not to many chromed/polished LT1's out there.

Nothing special to putting it on. Nothing will fall out if you remove the two nuts on each side to put the brace on. Just keep the brackets loose until you bolt the bar in. Then tighten up the brackets and your done. Shouldnt take more then 15 minutes if your being careful.

The alternator seems to fit more flushly in the engine compartment than on my LT-1, is that some kind of aftermarket bracket?

Also, what technique did you follow to polish the alt. ?

Stock bracket. FRC might be throwing you off.

Bought the Alternator chromed from Mr. Alternator.
