Is anybody using a 255 intank pump with a 255 inline pump? I think that will support everything I need right now. If I were to run a smaller inline pump, would it restrict the intank pump?

Speeds8erM-1 10-13-2002, 11:43 PM Somebody has ran a a big inline pump with a big intank pump. :) LPEdave 10-14-2002, 01:21 AM I can't tell - is that a wet kit or a dry kit? Dave Speeds8erM-1 10-14-2002, 07:39 PM Yes but why would that matter? I have a Granatelli 255 Intank Pump but I want more fuel. LPEdave 10-14-2002, 07:56 PM It would matter because if you have a wet kit, it needs *more* fuel, but at the same pressure. If you have a dry kit, it needs *more* fuel, and *higher pressure*. I'd think your single in-tank pump wouldn't have an issue at all, if you have a wet kit. But if you have a dry kit, an in-line booster pump to raise the pressure is usually the solution. Dave Speeds8erM-1 10-15-2002, 01:20 AM Thats what I thought. The volume is still going to be a problem spraying a 200 shot or more I think. I want stock pressure with more volume. I dont think the 255 intank pump is going to be enough. It's a different setup than the setup in my signature. LPEdave 10-15-2002, 01:27 AM Ah. If it were me, I'd be looking for one larger pump, then... Probably what you're hoping not to have to do. Dave Speeds8erM-1 10-15-2002, 06:25 PM I dont think they make any bigger and it's a brand new pump that just got put in so I dont want to have to get another one anyway. | ||
