I'm looking for a cost effective clutch setup. I'm looking for something that will hold 400-450 rwhp on slicks (1.6-1.7 60's).

Is anyone running the Mcleod single disc with the stock (resurfaced) flywheel?

Also, pardon my ignorance, but why is it everyone goes with aftermarket master cylinders? Does the stock master not provide enough pressure to operate a stiffer pressure plate?

I'm very familiar with LT1 clutch setups....but after some research on LS1 clutches, I'm confused on a few things.

Any help is appreciated.
