ls1 vs lt1

a friend of mine with a 96 t/a with (according to him) 300hp, but he doesnt know what mods... :confused: anyway, we met each other on the highway about 10pm.
first run - we both hit the gas, i pulled about 1-1/2 cars off the jump then slowly pulled farther and farther
second run - he spun for about 2 sec. then caught traction, and i slowly pulled away
after the race he followed me to a gas station and we started talkin, he told me i had a nice lookin car and it was really fast, i told him his car looked nice too. he was a cool guy.

Nice looking car man. Sounds like he was putting 300 to the wheels if he pulled away from you. I've been looking for an LS1 race myself, It might be fun. BTW was he auto or six-speed?

First of all...good kills. Second...I'm confused. At first you talk about a friend of yours with a 96' TA, then at the end you talk as if you've never met the guy and you just saw him somewhere and raced. Which is it? Just curious. Was it two different cars and I just missed the middle part where you switched races err what?

he was a friend of a friend, so i just met him to race and see who had the faster car, so i knida knew him but kinda didnt.
