Cool I am doing my annual rear end detailing, pics inside-->>

Basically, everything from the axle to the bumper is detailed. It was a little tougher than I planned, but what is new, lol. I am pleased with the results.

Here is a list of details that I did.
-Sanded the Axle by hand and rolled the paint on it. A POR type paint form Eastwood.
-Removed all the diff cover bolts and replaced them with polished stainless ones, I polished them.
-Polished the swaybar brackets, "U" hooks (bought stainless ones), all the sleeves were polished were the urethane bushings are located.
-Polished the metal top part of the differential & the emergency brake brackets.
-Polished the exhaust hooks.
-Re-polished the entire exhaust.
-Cleaned everything, all the bushings, springs, you name it.

I really enjoy doing this. Next is the center section of the car then the engine.

Hope you enjoy the pics & thank you for allowing me to share.

The last link has all the pics together.

I looked at the username and knew immediately it was going to be incredible.

You have outdone yourself if that is even possible.

I don't seem to have the time anymore to even wash my car so you make me really jealous!

Also, I do believe the underside of your car is cleaner than my kitchen

you've missed a spot

Nice, did you hose it down first and then wiped it or wiped everything by hand? What cleaners?

Yeah I've gotta start caring how the underside of my car looks pretty soon. That seems like a good winter project to do. Can't wait to see it in person!

Thanks guys for allowing me to share pics, I appreciate the kind words.

Eric, with the modding you are doing it looks like the undercarriage is all that will be left. You can stop by anytime when you are in Marysville.

A dremmel is a little too small for buffing large items like a muffler.

Here is the link to a write up I did about polishing... Polishing Tips
