Is 400 HP possible out of a TPI system, or is the choice better to switch induction systems? Thanks!

yes its possible and has been done many times....

itll be more expensive going with TPI then another intake, but its not as hard as it seems...especially with a good set of heads and a healthy cam

yes it can be done, i came very close to it on a stock intake, but it will cost alot more and you still wont have any top end. You would be better off going with a stealth ram. They fit real nice under a stock hood.

yea it can be done...most anything can be done...but why would you want too??? TPI is a very restrictive intake system, it would be the weakest point in your motor...why spend like 5 g's on a motor, than slap a TPI intake to only sufficate the power..thats just me...my suggestion would be HSR or a carb..

pick up an LT1 intake for $75 or so and do the conversion that way ;) cheap and good for the revs you will need

I don't think you are ever going to hit 400hp on a standard TPI system unless you put some serious money into the heads/cam/exhaust and computer.

For the money needed to dump into aftermarket TPI parts you'd be better off buying a SuperRam, or First Injections TPI setup.

The First TPI setup comes stock with 1.75" inner diameter cast runners. And those runners can easily be ported to 2.00" ID. Larger plenum, shorted runner lenth. The First TPI setup is what TPI should have been from the factory.
