I got a 86 TPI system and needs some work and cleaning done to it, any help on where the best place to get it done right? I'd appreciate it.

Check for a local engine shop that can hot tank it, maybe sandblast it, and polish/powder coat it.

Check this web page out. Might be somewhat local to you.

Think about how easy it is to get the stock TPI dirty, and how much of a pain it can be to clean. Getting it finished in some way is worth it.

I don't know what your looks like but I had some powered coating done on my engine and it was not that expensive. I only paid a couple of hundred bucks at a local shop here. You can check out my engine at www.cardomain.com and look under the 87's and it is Bud's 87 Z28.

O pho sho. Its not that its oh my god expensive, I have no money, spent it all on rebuilding the new engine, and I want the Tune port on there but I want it looking nice before I do. If you get what I mean.
