Some people here have my respect and some that I just assume go pound sand.

Some members like to believe that the LS1 is the God of all motors

Some members like to believe that the LT1 Camaros are better looking then the LS1 Camaros

Some members can drive well, and some just plain suck (though they have a hard time admiting it)

Some members don't even own a F-body

Some members are full of wonderful information, and some have the IQ of a Salad Bar


All in all it's a wonderful board!


As to your post on the Cobra.... Good Kill !!!!

Since cars are driven by Humans, anything is possible! Hell, when I had my 95 Stang GT I raced my friends 94 Z28 M6 probably 50 times and never lost and all I had was gears and exhaust....

If robots were driving the cars, things may have been different but robots weren't driving...

I own an 03 Cobra and 2 LS1s and I also know enough about racing that it doesn't matter what you have or how many millions of HP are under your hood.

Anything is possible but what happens in here a lot is bench racing and what they are trying to say and what you are trying say are 2 different things...

Your deal is that you believe your driving skill is good enough to beat LS1's or Cobra's that are not driven properly...

Their deal is that if the same people drove the 2 cars, yours would lose...

LMFAO. This kid claims to have had 10 previous cars (7 of which were Camaros), yet he is only 21. Unless he's a used car dealer or has a history of wrecking cars I am highly doubting this to be accurate. He also was quoted as saying a LS1 SS could only get a 13.9 "at best". He then goes on to tell us how his LT1 should be around 290-300 FWHP which is plenty to take out stock or even mildly "modded" LS1's.

My advice to the kid is to hang around this site and read for awhile. Learn about his car as well as other F-bodies, mustangs, imports, ect. There is nothing wrong with learning new things or admitting you have limited knowledge on any given topic. He tried to BS his way through the 04 Cobra post and he was called on it. BTW as far as I can tell no one was denying he hung with the Cobra or calling BS on his story. But they were trying to assure him that the Cobra was either not racing or was very poorly driven to which he responded with:

he had decent traction... and i would have assumed that with him changing gears and not missing (as in he seemed to have the gears where they needed to be when they needed to be there) his car even with a bad driver wouldnt lose 2 seconds in the 1/4....... granted it WAS a street race... so he probably wasnt going "balls out".... but then again..... neither was i....

So now he's trying to claim that bad driving had nothing to do with his car hanging with a SC Cobra and that his very mildly modded LT1 is legitimately ahead of LS1 times and just behind 03/04 cobras. And now he's not even going balls out? The kid put his foot in his mouth whether he wants to admit it or not. I think Bob went a bit overboard with him but that's his style I guess (like it or not).

By all means ZeeDub stick around. Learn here, shoot the sh**, make some friends and have some fun. Just try to keep it real ;)
