3" exhaust down to 2 1/2" ?????cmking26 09-26-2004, 05:26 PM My y pipe is 3" but old tailpipe is 2 1/2" I cant find any reducers in town that big how do I get them matched up. Kris93/95Z28 09-26-2004, 05:53 PM Rule of thumb: The less amount the exhaust has to bend, or go from one size to another... The better. Stick with 3" The whole way, Exhaust shops will have it. cmking26 09-26-2004, 06:58 PM I found some glasspacks I think I can get one 3" inlet and 2 1/2" outlet. So thats what I want to do. I understand it would be better for a 3" catback but I dont want to spend money so this will have to do. Kataklysm 09-26-2004, 07:28 PM Your screwing up how the exhaust flows, you shouldn't do it, spend a little money, its not that much. cmking26 09-26-2004, 08:31 PM Jegs has a flowmaster reducer that is smooth and 8" long so I ordered that. Should work ok. Thanks Kris93/95Z28 09-26-2004, 08:34 PM Dude you can have ANY exhaust shop in your araea get you fixed up... No shipping, no waiting for parts.... | ||
