well this is not a kill, but still a cool race. i have a catback and lid, and the SS has pacesetter LTs, catback, and lid. both are auto. i knew i would lose b/c i was racing the same engine basically except the only difference was that he had headers. well by a 1/4 mile or so he had about a car length on me when we shut down. it was closer than i thought, but i wonder what wouldve happened if i had headers (which i will hopefully get soon). still one of my only losses, and at least it was to a fellow F-body.

what gears were both of you running? I'm assuming stock, but that could be a 2.73 or 3.23 :confused:

All cars run differently, cant base a win or lose on one mod(ofcourse except major engine work or FI) sounds like you would of had him w/ headers
