Help me call this guy out....

Just started work at a new place yesterday, and this other guy drives a nice looking 97 z. He asked me is mine was fast...blah blah, I asked him what his mods were and he said hes got the msd digital system a flomaster "race" muffler(was pretty loud compared to mine) and a 150shot??? He also made sure to point out his 9.5mm wires to me :confused:.

He popped his hood, and the thing is I couldn't spot any nitrous lines anywhere, and can you even run a 150 shot on a stock z28 anyway? I know you can kindof hide the lines and solenoids under the intake elbow, but is this guy full of it? Also the box for the msd was not under the hood either, he said it was somewhere in the interior.

He was also talking about keeping up with some Talon that was running 11.80s(im assuming in the 1/4), but the thing is he's stone stock other than listed. What do you guys think?

I have my bottle hidden in the spare tire compartment. It is pretty hard to see some of the nitrous components under my hood, the solenoids are between the battery and resovoir. Pretty hidden.

About the ignition box, mine is mounted inside the car, I removed my passenger side air bag and mounted in their.

I tell people that all the time, but I have a remote bottle opener, so sometimes I spray it anyways just to completely annihilate my opponents.

If he wants to race, just tell him to take the bottle out(however he could have another one somewhere else, it's an old scam)

And yes you can spray a 150 shot on a stock z28, but overall it sounds like he just might have a cutout. Who knows, race him and find out.

Looking at your mods... If he is using any spray he is defiantly going to take ya. However, it sure would be nice to whoop him and make him shutup. :D

I say race him. thing is he's going to spray it, more so when you are thinking you have him at the end. never trust a guy that talks that much. What ever you do, good luck! :thumb:
