Need some info on Camaro SS

Hi guys
Can you please recommend me what year 4th gen 98 and up SS is best to buy and why. I'm looking currently for SS model black on black I prefer no t roof or convertible. How many hardtop Camaro SS where made? btw I also prefer for it to have those 5 split star SS rims and leather interior 6 speed

Performance wise, an 01-02 would be the way to go. They came stock with a little more power than the 98-00's. I believe the 98-99 (or 2000 not sure which) SS's come with ZR1's and the 00+ have the 10 spokes. Chime in if I am wrong on the rims though, but I do believe thats right.

You can find an SS with a hardtop, but good luck.

ahh yes I seen few of them on Ebay SLP Camaro package with 2 oval exhausts in the back. What do they have that none SLP doesn't? and is that a factory Camaro or done by company SLP?
