today i got ls1 edit installed in my car at PHP performance speed shop, i have 373 gears and after the install of the data, my car still doesn't downshift when iam crusing at 50+ mph, it does down shift in second gear when iam at 40mph but anything higher it still wont downshift? even the tech doesn't know, he drove my car and he never had a problem like this before with other cars with 373 gears, he used the auto tap and checked my TP volts at WOT which is good at WOT, he looked at the Ls1 data several times and everything is all good, but my car wont downshift in second when iam crusing 50mph or higher it still has that sluggish performance when i floor the car? anyone have an idea what could be causing this not being able to downshift at 50 mph and higher? my transmission is stock, no shift kit, no stall, here is the data of what has been done:
Transmission calibration
1-2 shift point at 41mph
2-3 shift point at 78 mph
3-4 shift point at 187mph
Downshift
2 to 1 at 29mph
3 to 2 at 63 mph
4 to 3 at 108 mph
All Rpm set at 6200
Normal mode shift speed 100% throttle
1 to 2 shift at 41 mph
2 to 3 at 78 mph
3 to 4 at 186 mph
2 to 1 at 39 mph
3 to 2 at 63 mph
4 to 3 at 108 mph

Is the converter unlocking above 45-50MPH? I guess that could keep it from shifting, but I'm not sure...
My car, if in 4th gear at 50MPH, if I press gas to a point, the converter will unlock and car will accelerate quicker, pressing gas further will cause a downshift to 3rd or 2nd depending on throttle input.

iam not sure if the converter is unlocking all i know is that when iam crusing at 50 mph or faster, the car moves when i go half throttle, when i floor the gas wot it doesn't downshift it crawls, i hate having the trans not downshifting. well tonight while i was crusing i lost from a 02 or 03 gt mustang while i was crusing at 55mph the stang downshifted and my car was crawling the mustang was gone, only if my car downshifted

I supposed it's possible that if the converter won't unlock, it won't downshift like it's supposed to...
In my car, while cruising with the converter locked, if I just lightly press the brake pedal (not enough to actually slow the car, that's how lightly), I can get the converter to unlock. Like while driving with cruise control on, if I touch the brake light enough, the converter will unlock, but cruise stays on.
You might want to look at the TCC apply and release settings.
Have you ever changed anything shifting or converter wise on the car? Tuning wise OR mechanically wise? If you haven't then I'd bet you have a hardware problem.

only thing i know that has been changed is my shift points and my downshift and the data that i provided in my first post is what has been done with the LS1 edit, for TCC apply and release settings. iam not sure if that has been altered? can this be my problem that iam having? iam also thinking that may be my problem, cause anything under 50 mph, when i floor my car at wot it downshifts to second gear, anything 50 mph or higher and when i floor my car at wot it goes to third gear and not second, so this may be that the converter is unlocking at 20 to 45 mph but 50 or higher its not unlocking
