New best - 13.3 @ 109.7

I ran the SS again last night...the track prep was terrible once again. They don't prep the track on Wednesday nights because they don't get enough business to warrant prep.

Anyways, I ran a 13.34 @ 109.7 spinning badly into 2nd and 3rd. This was with an 8.8 @ 86.0 in the 1/8. On another run, I trapped 86.5 in the 1/8 which would have been 110 mph, but I missed 4th. :( I still ran a 13.3 @ 105 on this pass.

The DA was 2700'. I can't wait until cooler weather, slicks and a prepped track. :)

Sounds like you are enjoying your new LS1 toy more than the LT1 already. Wish I could trade up..

...anyway, good run.....just need to get your 60' time down below 2.0's, and with the MPH your car ran, you should be set for 12's:thumb: (I'm cutting consistant 13.0's at around ~106 - 107, 1.9xx 60' times, so running through at ~109 - 110, your car should be into the 12's:cool: ).

109.7 mph is huge mph for a 13.3 ET. Traction must have been non-existant the way you described.

6-speeds do tend to trap alot higher than auto's though. I ran a 13.6 @ 107 bonestock, but it was on a 2.53 60'.

Ouch!:think: Take .5 seconds off your 60' time as it should be, and you've got a 13.1 right there;). I don't think the whole "2 tenths in the 1/4 for every 1 tenth in the 60' " rule would truly apply though:irk:.....although it would be nice!:D

yeah it was on stock tires. I'm cutting 1.9's on my potenza's now though. Haven't gotten to run the quarter again though. Running low 8's in the eighth mile.
