So I won some Hedman Headers off of Ebay

I am going to get a O2 bung welded into the collector. My question is, should I buy the Hedman y-pipe and get it modded (cut and weld in 3" pieces) or should I have an exhaust shop make me a high flow y-pipe instead?

Have the exhaust shop custom fabricate a y-pipe. The reason I say this is because I bought a y-pipe and it didn't fit my car well. So I sold it and had one made for pretty cheap considering it features dual dmh cutouts. Plus you can have them use bigger piping.

I would get a nice y collector from an exhaust company, and have your local exhaust shop make you a y pipe from that. Otherwise you risk having something that looks like the stock 3rd gen T-pipe....

Yeah, I would say I got lucky on that one. I didn't know exactly which headers I wanted but I spotted these and said what the hell.
