Will this intake work on my car with an Edelbrock 600? If not.. what are my other choices by Weiand, or any other well-known manufacturer?
Thanx all,
Matt

Thanx all, Matt Dave89IROC 09-22-2004, 10:14 PM for best use on a street driven car, it would be best to get a dual plane intake, if emmissions is not an issue, the edelbrock performer non egr or the performer RPM would be good, as for Weiand, the Stealth is a very good intake, have had personmal experiance, it is a nice intake Stephen 87 IROC 09-22-2004, 11:34 PM That manifold is a low profile style. It's good to use to keep the carb low enough to close the hood. I used one on my old 383 but I also used a 850 Speed Demon carb and a huge solid camshaft. I don't think it has a dual bolt pattern for the carb. Mine was for square bore carbs. If the Edelbrock is a spreadbore, it may not fit unless the intake has the proper holes to mount the carb studs and the opening is big enough for the spreadbore. 85_305 09-23-2004, 05:46 PM I have the Edelbrock p/n 1406.. I dunno what kind of "bore" it is. I have some kind of Edelbrock square bore adapter plate.. would that work with it? Dave89IROC 09-23-2004, 10:45 PM I have the Edelbrock p/n 1406.. But I don't want that manifold because it is a single runner.. right? | ||
