Pictures of Z06 wheels anyone?

I was wondering if some one had some pictures of the 5 spoke open star design ones (they actually have 10 spokes, but I'm just going by the description in my summet mag). Could you also post the size of the wheel and tire with your pictures. Thanks!

Here is the description of the wheel

These gorgeous ZO-6 Vette wheels feature an open 5-spoke star design. They are available in your choice of a chrome, polished, or silver finish.

I know what chrome would look like, but what is the difference b/t silver and polished? Thanks again.

Awesome. That's exactly what I wanted, to be able to compare 17's to 18's. Thanks. I think I'm going to go with the 17's. ZO6Z28, what size tire are you running. And how wide is your wheel

275/40/17 ~ 9.5 width all the way around.

Alot of guys go with 18's. But if your car is lowered, 17's will look just as good.

Thats a big mistake. Get the 18's. You will regret the 17's. I promise you.

Yeah 18's do look better because they fill up that wheel well. I would do a 18 x 9.5 in the front and 18 x 9.5 or 10 in the back. I think 17's only look good if the car is lowered. You have to get rid of that fender gap.

18's look a 100x's better. I would also get 18's x 9.5's all the way around. That way you can still rotate your tires. If you have a diff size in the back you can't rotate your tires unless you have them broken down and switched on the rim since most tires for our cars are only 1 direction.

Thanks i appreciate that. Whats funny is i use to not even care about appearance mods. Don't think i'm trying to contradict everything you say though. I just think 18's look way better but the tires do cost more. I've also had diff size front rims then the rears and it sucks because you can't ever rotate the tires. They may look good but they make maintance a pain. I like your Z too. I thought about the 69 Z28 emblems but i already have lots of light silver reflective decals so i don't know how the old chrome emblems would look with the others.

Hey Dude, what’s up! I see you’re still holding five stars in domain. Cars looking sweet! The 18' - Zo6's made a bid difference. Anyway, I must agree that the same size tires and rims, in this case 18’s, make for a better all-around look. Being able to rotate also helps the tires last longer.

Anyway, keep up the good work Bro. Check back sometime! :D

I am getting those same rims for my green 95 camaro vert... I am getting a bit different size tire though... 18x9.5 rims (+56mm offset). with 265/35 ZR18 tires... now I am nervous that they won't fit in the wheel well. as yours are 275/35/18. My car isn't lowered at all so I have my fingers crossed. The place said that they would fit.. BUT YOUR CAR LOOKS AWSOME  .. I CANT WAIT TO PUT THEM ON MY CAR

I don't know who you're talking to but i have 275/35/18's on my car and they fit. I believe they are 56mm offset too. I bought them used though so i'm not for sure.

Also thanks djn. I appreciate the comments. I wouldn't have my Z06's if it wasn't for seeing your car with them.

is there that much difference between the 275 and the 265? I am a tire dummy.. is the 275 or 265 wider? sorry for all the confusion.. just nervous about dropping that much cash and seeing a difference...

thanks

The 275 is the width, so its wider than the 265. I believe the 275 is the width measured in mm.

275's won't be a problem on a 95 vert. My 95 is lowered and they still fit just fine... Plus the handling with 275's is much better. ;)

Hey thanks, I appreciate the complement. You did give me an idea though; I think I’ll put up a few Christmas trees and some ornaments on page six. It would play a good match with the car just in time for the holidays. Hehe!

I know 18" would LOOK better, but the 17" perform better and less $$. The car is being dropped 1.5" right now, and having 3.73 put in w/ the texas rumber cat back, adj panhard bar lower control arms w/ relocation brackets. I also just put the carbon fiber lid and got the Preditor reprogramer! I hope I can cut my time close to 13 flat, if not better!
