Anyone local have a set of valve springs... I think it's stock diameter, and should be able to support .550 or better lift. I snapped one, so they're all coming out.

Any other damage ? bunker 09-19-2004, 05:35 PM If you descide to buy Comp valve springs, I have a set of 740-16 steel retainers that have about 1k miles on them, I'm going to be taking them out for some titanium ones that are on order. Matt LT1Z28 09-19-2004, 05:51 PM As far as damage goes at the moment it seems that the damage was solely to the spring going to just pop a new one check the guides out give her a compression test and let her rip. Jason Dove 09-24-2004, 11:55 AM Hey Matt, to run the Comp springs do you need to do anything else? Other than new retainers/locks, do I need Shims or anything? bunker 09-25-2004, 11:09 AM You need 7481-16 locators, 740-16 retainers, 987-16 are the springs. Fergot the PT# for the locks, you can find out. Springs rate is 441lbs so they are pretty bad a$$ | ||
