i have a black 68 camaro. i have american racing 14 in wheels on it now.
i would like to go with a bigger wheel. im not sure of what size because i havent seen many examples on the first gens so i dont know what looks good in their wheele whels.
so it would be great if i could get some recomendations and pictures.....i would love to see pictures.

i would either go with a classic chrome, polished, or aluminum (shiny) wheel.
or
i am curious how a black wheel with a polished lip would look on a black first gen

thanks for the help guys

How about some Boyd Coddington Timeless 2's?? I think they would look great in a 18x 9.5 on your car... :)

You'd like to know fawker :D They were like $323 a wheel or something. I dunno how smoothies would look on a firebird though, i dont even like ttII's on firebirds, but thats just my opinion.

check out www.bfranker.badz28.com/appearance for wheels :p

Cody, would you keep the lip polished, or do the whole wheel in blue? Part of me thinks I wouldn't like the blue wheels, but the other part of me thinks about how much I like the blue 30th wheels.

:p

Dustin i think pink is really more Codys color :blah:

Back on topic for the original poster. I also throw in a vote for Budnik Tiller 5's.

I could go on with different options for your car but you dont give a price range that you would like to stay within. If you could tell me your budget i would know where to start giving you ideas to look.

i would like them to stay less than $400 a wheel if that is possible.

i like those wheels on the TA you posted, and they are a pretty good price too....i was suprised at the price.

budnicks are pretty pricey arent they? but i saw a first gen with some in hot rod magazine not too long ago.

what do you think about a nice black wheel with a polished lip?
i think if i went with a black wheel i like the look of more than 5 spokes. would go with 6 or maybe even more spokes if i went with a black wheel with polished lip.
would a black wheel like that look good on a black first gen?

I have smoothie II's black with a polished lip right now. Looks fuggin mean as hell. I absolutely love it. And yeah if your car is black, black with polished lip goes pretty good IMO.

I can get pics of my car for ya tomorrow :p
