I have noticed that since I have started posting here again, there aren't as many people posting. Last time I was registered here it was under the name Z-28_Guy. That was 2 years ago and I couldn't keep up with the posts. So where is everybody?

There are generation specific sites, with a lot more traffic/experienced members, that tend to attract 1st and 2nd gen owners once they find them. I own a 2nd gen and a 4th gen, used to own a 3rd gen, so I like the variety of this site, but also hang out at 2nd and 4th gen sites.

Yah... for most of my tech questions I'm at other sites... since nobody seems to ask much about old pontiacs here ;)

But you can't beat this house for entertainment value....

There are a handful of us that post here, but as has been said before, the generation specific sites are more popular.

Im still around, but my technical expertise in leaning more toward 4th gen forums, since my car is half 4th gen anyway.

This forum was busy as hell, and the gen. specific forums were still here then as well. I guess people just got bored huh?

I think as fourth gen cars get cheaper, more and more of us will be getting them... and the older cars are getting their own "specific" sites....

It seems to have slowed down considerably after school started. That was pretty much board-wide, not just in here. I've really been surprised with the decrease in board-wide traffic. Things have gotten so slow in other forums that I started checking out Classic Tech just to see more. :)

Besides, it's the quality of information that counts... not the quantity. Most of the "quantity" threads are 2+ pages of people rehashing replies from the first page.... either that or they don't read replies from others in the first place.

If you have gen specific questions, there are other boards. If you have engine specific questions, there are even more options. Some boards have quite a list of engine builders frequenting the forums.

Got questions... post em up. :)

Your car is so sweet I drool every time I look at it. It is just done so right. It is one of the prettiest 67's I have ever seen. Not to mention the drivetrain. Someday I will have one like it I hope. :)
