so ive done my research
i like the double diamond shape sfc's
i know rksports is making them now because they are in the magazine i just read.
they are also pretty cheap 235 i think
so here is my question
since i have read a million posts about sfc's no one has said anything bad baout them, is thier anything that can be said on the negative side about sfc's?
if so what

Good observation - I've been watching SFC posts too.
some style SFC's reduce ground clearance - possibly an issue if you're lowered.
Some SFC's make it difficult/impossible to install other mods like torque arms that relocate the fwd mount off the tranny.
I think I've also seen some guys post about long tube header/Y pipe clearance type issues. but not sure if that was specific to SFC's or not.
All in all, more benefit than not though by most accounts. I'm definitely going there next even though I'm lowered.

global west sfc's are tubular (won't hurt ground clearance) and work pretty well from the posts i've searched
they are like 190 or so on thunderracing.com

there's a guy who sells SLP units on ebay really cheap. He just buys them from SLP in bulk, unpainted sometimes, but they're made by SLP. 175$ for bolt ons, 135$ last time I looked for the weld ons, buy it now in each case 20$ or so more than that.

My thinking is i don't want anything like exhaust or SFC's crossing underneathe the car as it can make it a pain to remove certain things like driveshaft or something. Regular tubular work fine for me.

Those are the ones I bought. You can just go to an autoparts store and get a can of under coating. Now to jack up the rear of the car, I have to put the jack under the sfc.
