BMR, SFC002, $169.00, weld-on (BMR)
SLP, 70804, $349.99, bolt-on (TByrne)
KBDD, KBP-19104, $289.99, weld-on (TByrne)

These SFC's are for a convertible and I am planning on purchasing them at the end of the month. I am confused and need your help. Let me know what SFC's you prefer and why. Thanks in advance.

You might want to check out wolfe racecraft's new design. I don't know too much about them but you can always give them a call.

They also make the regular style.

DD's are a good choice for a vert if you don't plan on installing an aftermarket exhaust system, or a TA that mounts somewhere other than the tranny. I personally think you would be ok with some BMR boxed SFC's. I don't think I would want to limit myself with the installation of DD's. JMO

I didn't think that BMR made Boxed SFC's for LT1 convertibles... I never hear good things about the "bolt on" SFC's unless they are welded in. The DD style would seem to offer the best structural stiffness, but the BMR SFC's may be good enough and are much cheaper.

When you make your choice, let us know which ones you went with and why.

My fault, I didn't realize this was a vert.

Yes I am limited to what is available for a Vert. The SLP bolt-ons are attractive and simple but I don't know where they get their pricing at. I can get the BMR weld-ons for $169ish and probably spend $50ish getting them installed. SLP wants $360 for the bolt-ons and they don't attached to the rear subframe as well as the BMR's. I can get BMR's SFC and LCA's for the same price as the SLP SFC's. Heck they are just metal-welding-paint.

Good advice and suggestions from everyone, thanks. I will purchase the BMR SFC's while purchasing the BMR LCA's and adjustable PHB. Any suggestions on who should weld the SFC's? BMR has very good installation instructions. Wish I knew how to weld.
