3rd and 4th gen rear suspension question

I found LCA's and panhard rod rear suspension parts in my attic off of my previous f-body, an '86 iroc, that look to be exactly the same as my 97 SS stock parts. The center to center length to the thru holes look to be exact; the only difference I can see is the 86 LCA's have a cross brace that is bolted in with 2 bolts. Are 3rd and 4th gen rear suspension's the same? :confused:

yes the rear springs, shocks, rear end mounting points, panhard bar, lca's are the same as far as i know.

if u looks at www.spohn.net and compare the years verses part numbers, they would be the same.
