Which tires will fit?

I am about to buy some new tires for the rear and was wondering what the widest DRs I could go with would be. I currently have 255/50/16s. My rims are the silver stockers.

You don't have a lot of choices for a 16" wheel. M/T and BFG make a 255/50-16, Nitto makes a 245/50-16. That about it.

About how many miles can I get from each brand?

What about perf. in the rain? which one is best when the streets are wet?

How do each perform at the track?
