Im a 1997 Ws6 M6
I last dynoed 285rwhp 314rwtq
I run at SAR in Texas(600' elevation).
I launch by dumping the clutch at around 2500rpm.
My shift light is set at 5900. I powershift 1-2 and shift 2-3/3-4 lifting the throttle slightly.

My best ET/MPH was 14.15 @ 99.6.
Raceweight was 3740 lbs

Correct me if im wrong on the following data:
Stock LT1:
rwhp - ~250 rwtq ~275 traps at around ~100mph

If im making 285/314, why would my trap speed be only comparable to a stock LT1? Shouldnt i be a couple mph higher given the ~35rwhp difference? I know i can bring my ETs down if i get better at launching(2.2-2.4 is usually what i get on street tires) but from what i understand, that wont affect my trap speed much.

Any ideas appreciated!

I would need temperature, barometric pressure and humidity at the time of the run. Dyno hp is calculated to a standard day. A dyno run in Florida will give the same results as a dyno run in Denver however a 1/4 mile run in Denver would be much slower. With the weather conditions, I can calculate a dyno correction to see how much HP you were making at the track. There are also a few things that can affect the run that won't show up on a dyno.

Head winds can slow you down.
Air resistance going down the track will slow you down.
Rolling resistance from the tires will slow you down.

All of these require hp to overcome and a dyno can't calculate that.

Race weight is another consideration. It takes less hp to move a lighter vehicle the same speed. 3740 pounds race weight is a heavy pig. You need a lot of torque to get something that heavy moving off the line. Is the 100 mph LT1 also 3700+ pounds?

San Antonio Raceway is listed at 300'
