Love the way those cobra-r wheels look. 96SFLZ 09-09-2004, 07:22 PM GMHTP's ThunderChicken had replica Cobra R's on it. If nobody posts any info, I'll look up that issue after I get home. wu6fiend 09-09-2004, 07:43 PM Topline Products in Montclaire CA make "Bullett" wheels for F-bodies. They are available in 4th Gen and C4 bolt patterns and offsets. (They spell their product "Bulletts" for legal reasons.) Take a look in Camaro Performers, Summer 2004. RedHottG2 09-09-2004, 10:33 PM I'd like to see a pic if anyone can find one easily. Thanks :) mvnatedog 09-10-2004, 12:12 AM Here are the Bulletts mentioned in the other post. Look about halfway down for a close-up: http://www.popularhotrodding.com/tech/0402phr_dress/ Compstall 09-10-2004, 06:41 PM The wheels are ok, but I definitely loved the color on the car. Kataklysm 09-10-2004, 07:29 PM I like the bullet wheels but I was hoping that the Cobra-R or 2003 Cobra wheels would fit :( Either way thanks for the links. Antz97ZNJ 09-10-2004, 09:34 PM Its been done before, I just cant grasp the concept of a ford wheels on a fbody Kataklysm 09-10-2004, 09:59 PM Are they even made by ford or another company? I would love to get some Fikse FM5 but I don't have $2400 for wheels, thats just stupid. 95_LT1_6SPD 09-10-2004, 11:10 PM i know they do make them, i just dont remember the name of the company. 68z28 09-11-2004, 07:33 AM http://www.performancewheeloutlet.com/detail.asp?pt=296+Series+Vortec+Z heres some and at a real good price. Kataklysm 09-13-2004, 07:35 PM You are correct, it must be the angle or something. Once i enlarged the pic and looked at it, it looked alot better. Thanks for the link, now i just need to come up with $800 :( EDIT : Those are Y2K Cobra...these are Cobra-R http://www.performancewheeloutlet.com/detail.asp?pt=280+Series+Cobra+R DWray 09-14-2004, 03:11 AM There is someone, can't remember who, that has Cobra R's on his Camaro. I remember reading his sig and wondering. Sure 'nuff, he had 'em. They looked good... but kinda 'out of place'. :p rlax31 09-14-2004, 08:58 AM Saw cobra R's on a 3000GT, looked good, but i couldn't get past the fact that they are ford wheels i imagine it would be the same on an fbody 94BlackBowtie 09-15-2004, 09:33 AM You are correct, it must be the angle or something. The bolt pattern is 5 x 4.75 and they are the 17x9's, they are listed there - that's all you need. They used to call that wheel the Milan, but now they just list it in the 280 series. sdd1z28 10-06-2004, 04:32 PM This is one guys car site that has them http://www.stumper66.com/car.html It looks like Performance Wheel Outlets web site is down. I called the number and it goes to an answering machine for them to call you back. I like the way they look. I hope they didn't like go out of business or something | ||
