Hood Locks

I recently purchased a z28 Camero that has hood locks.
I have not picked up the car or the title yet and am unsure what year model had the hood locks. The person I purchased it from said it was an 82 or 83 model, but I haven't found any pictures of that year model with hood locks. Can anyone help me on this?

i've never heard of any camaro coming with factory hood locks :confused:

yeah that bugs me when people can't spell camaro right. oh well. anyways i don't think hood pins ever came on them. actually almost positive.

No camaro came from the factory with hood locks. I'd take a closer look at the car. He may of used hoods locks because he thought it looked cool or that person really needed them. If so, he may also have beat the hell out of the car as well.

No Camaro ever came from the factory with an 'E' in it either.
