Not true. Period. You'll run out of HP and space before you run out of speed.

He will redline before he runs out of HP and torque, and probably space. He's not talking about 1/4 mile, he's talking all out top-speed-- I think. If not, then yes, he'll run out of space.

Well your friend needs to not give you advice...I have 373's and it is stronger on the top end acceleration than it previously was. My speedo is correct and I can peg it out w/out hiting my rev limiter.

4400 rpm @ 149 mph with 3.23s

5100 rpm @ 149 mph with 3.73s

Doesn't look to be anything really lost.

alway add a few rpms to the computer rpm cause that dont calcuate wind resistance.

Well they won't "kill" your top end but do expect 3000 rpm while cruising at 80 mph.
They will make your car accelerate better and crisper at any speed.
My Powerdyne winds up and works much better with the 3.73's than the 2.91's with the GV Overdrive on the highway.
If you cruise long distances expect to lose up to 2 mpg with 3.73's depending on leadfoot.
