Home Made Indiglo!!!!!!

This cost me $15 for the 8 bulbs. Look at my sig. on page 1. The picture isn't great, but this looks KILLER in person. I'm telling you, if you like the idea of indiglos, and want to know how to do this for $15, I can tell you. Just e-mail me, or if I get enough requests, I'll post for you.

PS: DO you guys know how to delete pics off of your cardomain storage? I can't figure out how to delete them off of the server. Thanks.

Sweet, so do they both take the same 194 bulbs then ? Why is it that people pay so much for the McEwen setup ?

Ya, it takes the 194 bulbs that can be bought in almost any color. There are 7 bulbs that need to be changed out, it was a little difficult on taking out the white bulbs because they are sodered on, but in the end totally worth it. If you know how to get to your cluster then you won't have any trouble. Hope this helps!

EDIT: BTW, I bought mine from Autozone and the color is red enough for me, and alot cheaper.

I changed mine with some blue bulbs from Checker Autoparts. They don't light up a true blue, but they match my Pioneer CD player perfectly. See pics in sig.

Just a note guys, I used the 195 bulbs, and there were 8 of them. I used a pair of needlenose pliers to twist them out. VERY EASY. "And I'm by NO MEANS a mechanic."

Man that's badass, thank you for posting this, but where could I get the exact same bulbs you got? As well as that music box? Thanks.

Hey, Blur. I think you are referring to my neons. All of my neon lights, including the music box are by street glow. You can get it from www.streetglow.com. Or, check out your nearest tweeter dealer. Later.

PS: Look for a new thread called HOME MADE INDIGLOS INSTALL. I am going to write it now for all of you who want to know how to change the colors of your speedometer.

Hey guys, I know this thread has been dead for awhile but I was searching for neon lights and found this. I was wondering how long the lights stayed the blue color before fadeing? Also what is the McEwen swap and what are the differences in the bulbs thanks.

Where did you find the quad LED bulbs and how many will I need? These where the only ones I could find in the blue color. Unless I wanted to go with the ones that are $35 a pair.
