knock retard...ssoulcainls6 09-03-2004, 06:54 PM i have a 2002 35th anniv ed Z28 w/LS6 block and comp from the factory. i was wondering what the acceptable know retard is... last night i ran a live diag. on my predator while my friend was driving the knock retard came up at 2 deg. also when he floored it it makes a pinging noise when the rpms get above 3000. any help would be appreciated. thanks. i also have 57000 miles on it an its a 6sp.
