I won't say direct name , but I will hint to who it is.. I'm sure most of you guys know him, or Know Of him. He resides in OVIEDO , and had a LT1 Trans am. Evidently his story is that he lost oil pressure , he shut it off almost immediately and never ran it again. Also promised me the car never over heated, blew head gaskets , was not sure why oil pressure dropped.. So be thinking I could trust this fella from Ovideo, I bought the short block he had, and bought his heads seperate since they had bigger valve springs in it. So I bought a un assembled somewhat longblock.

I took it to a local shop the same night and broke the motor down after eating dinner.

The pics below linked show the rest.

I want all of your guys feedback on this. I now know exactly what happened after doing the smart thing and following up his shady story. I know where he took the car to get it ' fixed ' as he thought it would, and why they turned him away. And why his story also stated he bought a junkyard motor to sell the car.

So be on the lookout for a either shady fellow that I belive now drives rice, a 240sx. that BLOCKED ME ON AIM BECAUSE HE SAID I WAS LYING TO HIM!!! YOU TELL ME WHO IS THE LYING SACK OF POOP !!!!

be my guest, if you want to AIM him his name is PTransAm1995 because frankly I have been blocked by this individual and cannot speak to him because he i belive blocked my emails also.

Tell him that I am the loser in this situation because frankly he won't listen to the fact that now I have to line bore the mains to even use the engine , that costs me 150 bucks more and they will need to keep the block for a while to do so. So in the end, I got screwed, and I don't even know if the heads are still okay or not, have not checked them , or the aftermarket components. If they are in bad shape I will be very very upset and I will need some help from you guys.

All of this went down a few weeks ago , but now I finally today got the information I needed to prove my case.

Thankyou for your time, and I would like to hear your honest comments. If anyone wants further information PM me

I can do better then that yes, but I'm mature enough to not cuss on a message board. I don't know of the seller of that engine was just desperate enough to sell it , so he lied to me. Or too stupid to understand that you don't drive a engine with no oil pressure. He stuck to his story the second time I asked him exactly what he did , but failed to mention that he drove it for more then a mile or two.. I was told it was drove quite a distance. Once I find out exactly all damage done to it, is when the situation will be delt with.

That really sucks, whats really crappy is you don't expect this to happen in a local deal maybe a long distance deal over the internet but not local.

What an a$$hole.

That guy also screwed me on ebay on those wheels. Lied to me in all emails and will not contact me back. Ebay won't do much about it since it was under 250.00 purchase price auctions. I had no idea that happened , Only time I took it out of the box ( brand new ) was to take a picture of it. I thought he was going to slap them on and see how they fit , then we were going to go from there ?

Now back on topic, If the guy would have been upfront and honest with me, I would have known what I was getting into, and that a minimum of 150 dollars more would be needed to be spent at the machine shop to line bore the mains. Don't know what else needs to be done, but if someone is honest with you, and did not actually know something like this happened, then thats understandable. But He did not even attempt to play dumb, he basically called me the lier and blocked me. So that tells me he knows more then he told me.

Yeah do something stupid like that, and pay for it for the rest of your life. Too bad people like him can't be a real man and step up to the plate. If I know I am wrong , I'll suck it in, and try to take care of the problem.

Are you going to give Clay his money back or buy him another wheel? It seems the wheels he bought from you are the wrong offset on the back.

Once again I will repeat myself , I was not aware that one wheel did not have the right offset, I never mounted it up, it was brand new, I only took it out of the box partially to take a picture of it. The guy who sold it to me on ebay told me it was a +50 mm offset 17x11 wheel. Clay told me its a +36 mm offset 17x11

I emailed the guy on ebay and told him he lied to me , that the email he sent me was not correct, thus being false information, and he told me to shove it , that I was wrong and he was right. So I'm stuck in a tight spot right now between a rock and dirt.

Clay has not come to me to tell me the outcome yet, so I called him and left him a message. I thought we were going to have them mounted up on the car and see how far off it sits. If it's not what he wants after that, then I guess we would look for another wheel , or pair of matching ones on ebay. I have already lost over 500 dollars on the set that I used for three months. I cannot afford to loose much more, we will see what we can do to make things right. I told him this in the beginning.
