Morning sickness

My 96 z28 is having morning sickness as far as the front end is concerned. The steering is "shaky" and the front feels "loose" until about two miles have gone. It clears up with driving and miles although I doubt I am at peak performance even then. Shocks? They are the stock 98000 mile decarbons (I know I know) or is there more to look at while I am doing that?

Thanks

Sounds like cold tires. Some are worse than others after sitting for extended periods.

Well I admit I didn't think of that.

You don't think after 8 years and all the bolt ons (dynoed 303 at wheels) that a little refreshment in the front would take the shimmy out? I was considering bilsteins and subframe connectors.

Thanks shoebox.

Could always be your power-steering not getting pumped up fast enough. Probally a bad seal if it is...
