SS Hood guys, Need some help here.

I just bought a genuine factory SS hood, unpainted. Yes, I got lucky.

Anyways, is there a grill of any kind at the entrance to the ram air opening? There is nothing in the front of the opening on this hood. There are small air dams the after the entrance, but nothing at the opening. Should there be something there?

Also, is the area inside the ram air opening painted the color of the hood, or is it painted black inside? The hood will be white, and I think it would look wierd with the area inside the ram air being white also.

There is suppose to be a grill there. I can't remember but i think it is black inside, you cant really see inside though with the grill in place.

But now that you have me thinking i think it would be pretty cool to have the inside painted white and run with no grill :)

Know where I can pick up the grill? Call SLP?

I'll take pictures of what it looks like with it open and the inside painted white, because that's what it will look like after it's painted next week.
