popping from exhaust when boosting, what could it be?

Very low boost is fine. Once I start to go over 6psi, I get nothing but popping from the exhaust. A/F ratio is fine at 11.5-13.0. The only thing I can think of are the plugs which are stock heat range. I just ordered a set of autolite 103's. DO you guys think that will solve my problem?

what are they gapped at? popping could be spark blow-out, sending unburnt fuel into the exhaust to be ignited by the hot turbos...

I've run Autolight 103's gapped at .035 for the last few years and haven't had any ignition problems. I also run a MSD 6 igntion though. If I run on the stock ignition it will blow out the spark, and I loose quite a bit of power, but it does not pop.

Make sure your valve springs are strong enough. Also check to see if one is broken. I have 3 coils in each spring. Had a similar problem when I busted a coil.
