I see you work at Ferris. I have been going there for 2 years know and will be moving in on Friday. Can I just take the 4l60e core off your hands? I wanna learn how to rebuild a tranny and this is the perfect opportunity for me to do so. I assume it is out of your z28?

Yup I still work and go to Ferris. Been here for about 4 years. Originally from the area though so I know it well. Where are you moving into maybe we can meet up sometime. As far as the tranny goes yeah it's a 4L60E out of my Z and had approximately 95-100k on it when removed. I don't remember for sure but it's somewhere around there. As far as any money for it goes that's not the issue, I'd just give it to you, but I considered rebuilding it myself(for the exact same reason as you) since I can get a complete upgrade and rebuild kit for only $110, plus I know I'm going to need a new tranny again someday. So I'd really like to get any reasonable(small) offer for it so I can atleast justify selling it vs keeping it around. PM me though and I'm sure we can figure something out I'm always willing to help out a fellow F-body owner.
