1997 Z28 M6 30th Edition for sale

Pics available at: http://www.cardomain.com/id/matts_z
This car is awesome! I hate to let it go but we need the money to buy a house. I bought this car April 2003. It is Artic white with hugger orange stripes and it's fully loaded. This car has the 6 speed with a Hurst shifter. It has the white leather with the 30th on the seats. T-tops, 12 cd changer in the trunk, air works great, power windows and locks, cruise. Everything works great in the car. The engine runs like new with no problems or leaks. It's about 375 horsepower and it's very strong. It has ported heads and a 5 angle valve job. It's got the SLP cold air intake. New serpentine belt. I bought the GMMG dual exhaust system March 2004. It sounds awesome! It has 4 new BF Goodrich G-Force tires I bought in March 2004 and they are still like new. It has new rotors and brakes pads. I just put 4 coats of Zaino on the body and it looks like new. Only Mobile 1 oil used. Never driven in Snow. I bought this car from a mechanic who was very picky about the car. He rebuilt the engine and clutch. I can email digital pictures to anyone. I am asking $8300 I think that is a great deal for what you are getting. I live in Lansing, Michigan. http://www.cardomain.com/id/matts_z

The car has 140,000 miles. It was rebuilt at 100,000. The car is in mint shape.

8300 is a bit pricey for a car like that.

Do you know what a 30th Anniversity is?!

I never see this model of the Camaro sell for under 12,000, at least.

I don't think it's too pricey. Your getting alot of car for the money. I don't think no Z28 should be sold for less than $8000 unless it's a piece of crap. F-body's are a awesome sports car and if the owner takes good care of it it will last forever. I have seen these cars as high as 300,000 miles and still running good. My friend bought a 1994 Z28 and it has 260,000 miles and it has never been rebuilt. It does not burn oil but leaks a little. He keeps a nice coat of wax on it and the paint is still like new. And the interior is still like new also. He drives the thing to Florida twice a year. My point is miles don't mean everything. I have seen cars with 50,000 miles that look VERY bad that I would not give $8000. You can tell people that take good care of their car and people that don't.

Re: 1997 Z28 30th Edition for sale

im going to have to agree with matts_z28 on the miles thing. my friend has a 90 TA with over 500000 miles and still runs strong. given there is a resale value of $0 for that car according to a bank or any other lender, as long as the car is well maintained, miles can be overlooked. but i would get proof of previous work done to it. anyone could say they just had the engine rebuilt, its all about the paperwork and receipts.

i had a 96 TA, and it had 144000 miles, and i got 6000 from the dealer when i traded it in. i looked at nada and it said private party was 11000. so your car would be worth more than that i would say.
