If I buy this '96 SS, I want to swap a 4L60E from my '95 Z28. It's a rebuilt 4L60E using the Pro-Built Road Racing kit, new torque converter, new valve body, and of course a Transgo shift kit. I want to know EVERYTHING I'll need to do to make the swap. Thanks.

Is the 96SS an auto or stick? If it is already an auto than just take the one out of the 96 and replace it with the built one all the wireing is the same.

well for one youll have all the parts, the wiring is alittle different, you will also have to have the computer programed(autos use the computer to shift) there will be some wiring differentences, like netural safety, etc. but its prteety much straight forword.

Well I can be the bigger man about this seeing as all I had to do is look at your age and realize you are just a punk kid(plus the ricer website in you sig). This website is too help people not act like a compleate ass. But as far as you swap you will need the wiring harness from an A-4 as none of the connections on the M-6 are the same.

Ricer website? It's not a ****ing ricer website, you idiot. Before you call me a "punk kid", why don't you work on using proper grammar.
