carb help

hey
i just started workin on my 85 z28 , its pretty stock with some exhuast mods, i dont know much about carbs but i bolted on a holley 4160 and i cant get the car to start , can anyone help ?

This may not be the answer you're looking for, but it's the best advice you'll receive on this topic. Put the original carb back on. Invest that 3 or 4 hundred dollars you spent on that carb, and save the few hundred more you'll need to spend to get everything working, and fix the problem that motivated you to replace the carb.

Your computer will not be happy not having the CC-Qjet connected. You will need a non-CC distributor to complete the non-CC package.
