Ok I through my applicator pads, micro fiber towels, some other 100% cotton towels in the washer yesterday along with a sponge(stupid idea). Well just about everything came out ruined so how do you all clean your stuff?

for the sponge, i just usually run it under water and ring it out a couple times
my cotton towels did fine when i washed them
and for the applicator pads...i usually throw a little bit of whatever detergent you use on them and hand wash them (just ring them in and out sort of)
it also says that for applicator pads you should let them air dry (which i would assume you would also do with the sponge
good luck next time man:)

Pads and sponges can be washed in a bucket with laundry detergent....let them sit in hot water, agitate with your hands, rinse.
Microfiber towels need to be washed alone. Put distilled white vinegar (1 capful per towel) in the final rinse.

are pads considered ruined when stained?

No...as long as they're not releasing products and the fibers aren't stiff after washing, they'll be fine. I have plenty of stained pads...
