Has anyone replaced their carpet?

I am thinking about doing this. Mine is a little worn and would also like to save some weight.

Any pics?
How has it held up?
Price?
Where from?
Weight savings?

Thanks.

When I changed from tan to white interior, I had to change the carpet. It is a tedious task that requires almost every panel inside of the car removed. I got the carpet at a local salvage yard for about 100, and is was from a wrecked TA.

Auto Custom Carpets (http://www.autocustomcarpets.com/main.html) has it in just about every color available, and it is extremely good quality. And not to be mean or anything, but you aren't gonna save that much weight by changing the carpet. I understand that you wanna be as light as possible, but running some cheap octane boost or something would serve about as much purpose :D ...just a thought, like I said, not trying to be a butthole. But the ACC carpet is nice, and not too expensive, and you can get it in nice ricer Neon Yellow or Flame Red (or a lot of other colors)...so I'd check them out.

I got my carpet from year one, but I am slightly disappointed with the fit. There was actually some decent weight savings from the carpet. It packs MUCH less insulation than stock, is thinner, and minus the dirt in the old carpet it felt considerably lighter.

I'm about to do mine shortly, not so much faded it has stuff spilled on it and it has lost a lot of carpet in the hatch area.
