I just got a set of corvette fuel rail covers for my 97 Z28. Just wondering what needs to be cut from them, if anything at all, and if anyone has any pics before i start this job. Thanks!

you really dont have to cut anything from them......when i did mine i drilled the two holes for the fuel lines instead of cutting.......i cut a half circle on the pass. side cover where the pcv hose goes into the manifold, and i had to trim the section by the map sensor on top of the manifold......you can cut but if you want the "factory look" you can make good use of a dremel and end up with great results.

They were about $22 a peice thru Sam Taylor, a dealership. http://samtaylor.com/html/parts.html You wanna email or call Jason Cromer. I also got some Camaro billet inserts that attach to the covers. I'm just trying to figure out how they attach to the car. Each one has 2 plastic tabs that look like they go into the fuel rail, but is that all that holds them on?

I bought a pair of akrott1 fule rail covers and like them very much! Their very durable and you can customize them any way you like. And not cutting is envolved

you will need to pick up the 4 LT4 intake manifold studs for the covers. they screw into the base of the intake manifold and the covers snap onto those studs and the 2 plastic nubs on each cover sit in the holes on the fuel rails. you might also have to reroute the brake booster line around the driver valve cover for better clearance.
