hey guys, im about to join the force fed group. ive got an Aftercooled Vortech V-2SQ comming. should i have Ion tune the pcm for it? he has already tuned it for my cam and it runs very strong.
he leaned it out to about 13:1.
just wondering what a SC tune intails....
thanks

Get it tuned on a dyno with a wide band. Keep it rich and your motor might live. :)

Sure, if you go lean and/or detonate.
Otherwise, you'll be ok until 18 months from now when the urge to re-pulley your blower for more boost overtakes you. You should print your post and re-read it each time you get the urge :-)

i think ill be holding off on any more mods for quite a while. except for roll cage and other safety stuff.
all that stuff you see that ive done to my car below, well thats all in the last couple months.....i have no more money. if i keep on like this ill have no family....and then id have less money!!!!HEHEHE

Just start stashing a little bit of $$ away every month, and when you blow it up, the forged 383 rotating assembly will already be paid for. ;)

Honestly, no one ever wants to hear that (especially after they've just bought a kit). Basically, don't rush anything. Take your time and do everything right the first time. Dyno tune the car with a wide band, and if you decide to change anything, be prepared to retune it if necessary.
