Selling my Turbo Formula for my father...
Long story short, my dad used to have an RS/SS first gen and he had to sell it to help out his family (me and my brother). Now, after YEARS of building my Turbo Formula, I've decided I would be much happier if my dad had his car again. I've fought with the idea of selling it for quite some time and with my dad's age/health, I need to do this before it's too late...
Here's a rundown of the major pieces:
1994 Pontiac Formula (bought it after a light front wreck and rebuilt it to my liking. Planned on keeping it forever, but... well... read above again
)
1998+ fenders, hood, and bumper
Motor Built by Hans Feustle at a cost of better than 8k (I actually called and asked what it would take to duplicate the shortblock, they confirmed at over 8k). 0.040 over LT1 block, splayed mains, forged 3.46 GM crank, Crower Rods, Custom JE pistions. Setup is O-ringed and uses copper head gaskets. Heads are Stage III LT1 castings from Gallant Technical Performance (www.GTP-racing.com) in Texas. Longblock WILL hold 800rwhp with ease.
Electronics: FAST Ecu with FULL harness, www.fasttrackperformance.com harness, Delteq ignition, tuning laptop (has issues, but it's your's if you want it). Fast controls all engine functions while the stock ECU runs fuel pump and gauges.
Turbo: Turbonetics T76 (good for ~1000hp), RACEgate, and Godzilla BOV, Turbo Tech manifold with custom downpipe and intercooler piping, FMIC.
other big value stuff: Autometer Phantom gauges: fuel pressure (electric), Exhaust temp, and boost. McLeod Street Twin with billet master cylinder. 18x9 inch Fittipaldi Wheels (550 per wheel)
The car is decently tuned for part throttle/crusing. I only wanted to go that far with the tune as I wanted to put miles on it before going WOT. I've got roughly 1800 miles on the entire setup. Honestly, you could just tune it for WOT and be done, but I was shooting for 3000 miles before doing so.
asking $17200.
