I think I read that a FMU might actually be a better option for '93 becuase of the Speed Density syst. (intead of MAF) ... is it true??? :)
Anyway,
What would I need to make my life esier when tuning a p600B in my 93 :D
thanks

Tuning is the key to making your stock motor last. On a supercharged application I recommend getting it dynotuned. Mail order dynotunes are ok but not something I would rely on if you plan on making alot of visits to the track.
I was running an FMU, 24lb injectors and a mail order tune with my P600b. My car did run on the rich side which I blame on the poor mail order tune. I guess it is better to run rich than lean. :)

Just got my P600 so when I get some time I have to put it on my 93. What do I need to change, I did not get the whole kit new from ATI, I just got a headunit from a buddy as well as the FMU and some 30lb injectors. My car already has an inline 255 pump.
Is the stock MAP sensor okay. Do you think I will need to intercool 6lbs of boost?

6lbs is ok for a non-intercooled system and the stock map sensor is ok. :)

Either way I am going to intercool the setup just to make sure. I really do not want to go through a rebuild again at this point, but it is good to hear that I really do not have any other unseen formalities.

The problem is that supercharged applications are tempermental. Some people go years before rebuilds while others go a few hours. I would say the most critical things are a good tune and good fuel. Tou bad 93's do not have the capabilities to run a scanmaster. :(

If your in S.C. go to Jeff at Carolina Auto Masters. I had a mail order tune on my vortech and it caused an early death.
