Its not installed as of yet, but im ditching the old exhuast Mac mids, off-road y-pipe, 3"cut-out in place of cat, and SLP 2OTL.

Im about to cut the y-pipe and weld 3" pipe to a h-pipe with dual 3" inlet/outlet 18" long Chambered mufflers and dump it before the axle.

Hopefully i can take a few sound clips of before and after for you guys. Ill close up the cut-out as well in a sound clip.

I can't wait. :p

Ive actually never cared about my ground clearance. Regardless of a half inch here or there, its low. So i just dont worry about how low and do the mods i want :p

And you will hear sound clips, though they may be in movie format because im just doing them with my camera. :p

should sound badass. very similar to the GMMG but with alot more interior resonance due to being dumped under the car.

keep us posted

Interior resonance cant be too bad vs open headers :p

Also when i changed the interior i lined the car with some spray on sound deadning stuff as well as doubled the sound deadning mat in the car and filling the fender wells with it as well.

Sure it made the car heavier but it kept alot of the drone out.

What kind of mufflers did you say you were using and where were you getting them from??

They are Chambered mufflers from sweet-thunder :)

Sweet thunder chambers dont hurt ground clearance. They sound pretty good IMO too.

What about the ones from summit? Are they about the same thing? Also anyone know how the chambered mufflers flow like in comparison to the bullets, seems like they are the same thing except for the chambers....?

:D Another vote for Mike and Sweet Thunder. I had Mike make my setup awhile ago. I was 1 of his 1st experiments with a LS1
